Venous Indications

Vacumed - Operation... More than 90% of all adults suffer from weak veins (Raab, 2003). In particular the late stages, oedema and ulcers are increasing enormously due to the demographic development, (Raab, 2009).

The intermittent negative pressure treatment (-IVT-) is particularly suitable for chronic venous insufficiencies (CVI) therapy and post-thrombotic syndromes.

Thus, Campisi treated approx. 2000 patients with lymphatic stasis and venous oedemas over a period of four years.

  • Average duration of treatment: 20 minutes
  • Average number of applications: twelve
  • Success rate: 90%
